Post-translational modifications of p73, such as phosphorylation, acetylation, and ubiquitination, play essential roles in modulating activity, stability, and interactions with other proteins, thereby influencing function in tumor suppression and cellular stress responses. Phosphorylation of p73 can enhance transcriptional activity, while ubiquitination typically targets p73 for proteasomal degradation, balancing levels within the cell. |
