PIAS4 also designated ZMIZ6, PIASy is a member of the protein inhibitor of activated signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) family, plays a crucial role in regulating cytokine signaling by acting as a negative regulator of STAT proteins, thereby modulating gene activation, proliferation, and differentiation in response to cytokines.
