Product Description

PI3 Kinase p85β also Known as PIK3R2 is a member of the PI3K p85 subunit family. PI3 Kinase p85β functions as an adapter in phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase signaling, regulating cellular growth, proliferation, and survival. PI3 Kinase p85β consists of p85 and p110 subunits, where p85β interacts with activated protein tyrosine kinases to facilitate p110 isoform activation. PI3 Kinase p85β contains one SH3 and two SH2 domains essential for signal transduction. PI3 Kinase p85β interaction with p110α and p110β isoforms regulates cellular responses to growth factors and hormones, making PI3 Kinase p85β a significant target in cancer and metabolic disease research.
