IL-10Rα also known as CD210, IL10RA is a receptor for interleukin 10. IL-10R plays a crucial role in immune regulation by mediating the anti-inflammatory effects of interleukin-10, a cytokine vital for controlling immune responses and preventing excessive inflammation. IL-10R is primarily located on the surface of immune cells such as B cells and T helper cells, as well as in LPS-induced mouse fibroblasts, enabling modulation of immune responses during infections and inflammatory conditions.
