Product Description

GRB10 belongs to a small family of adapter proteins that are known to interact with a number of receptor tyrosine kinases and signaling molecules. GRB10 interacts with several receptor tyrosine kinases, which are essential for mediating cellular responses to growth factors. GRB10 regulates insulin signaling and has been implicated in metabolic processes, making GRB10 significant in studying conditions such as obesity and diabetes. GRB10 undergoes serine phosphorylation in response to epidermal growth factor treatment, while showing limited binding to the EGF receptor, highlighting complex regulatory mechanisms and potential as a therapeutic target. Mapping to mouse chromosome 11, GRB10 is located near the EGF receptor, suggesting a functional relationship that may influence receptor signaling dynamics.
