Product Description

LYN also known as JTK8 is a member of the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases. LYN play a crucial role in various cellular processes, including the regulation of immune responses and hematopoiesis. LYN is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic tissues, where LYN is essential for normal immunoglobulin production and the modulation of immune cell signaling. LYN′s activity is tightly regulated, and LYN is typically maintained in an inactive state, becoming activated during specific cellular events, such as mitosis or immune receptor engagement. This regulation is vital for preventing aberrant signaling that could lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation or autoimmune disorders.
