| Product Description | |
Sin1 also known as MAPKAP-1 is a protein that localizes in the nucleus and is involved in several different signal transduction pathways. Sin1 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, particularly in the nucleus, Sin1 is essential for the regulation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling, acting as a scaffold that facilitates interaction between various signaling molecules. Sin1 undergoes phosphorylation in response to cellular stress, which is critical for function in stress response pathways. Sin1 gene transcription increases during cellular injury, highlighting Sin1′s importance in wound healing and cellular recovery processes. Cells lacking Sin1 show increased sensitivity to stress, sterility, and delays in the cell cycle, underscoring Sin1′s vital role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and response to environmental challenges. |
