Product Description | |
14-3-3 beta is a protein belonging to the 14-3-3 family of proteins.14-3-3 beta protein plays a crucial role in regulating numerous cellular processes, particularly in cancer biology, where 14-3-3 beta protein is involved in apoptosis, mitogenic signaling, and cell-cycle checkpoints. 14-3-3 beta protein is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where 14-3-3 beta protein acts as a scaffold that facilitates the interaction of various signaling proteins, thereby influencing their activity and stability. This cytoplasmic localization allows 14-3-3 proteins to sequester target proteins, preventing their degradation and modulating their functions in response to cellular signals. 14-3-3 proteins bind to phosphorylated serine and threonine residues, enabling regulation of a wide array of cellular pathways, and dysregulation can lead to significant pathological conditions, including cancer. |
