| Product Description | |
ATF-3 is a member of the mammalian activation transcription factor/cAMP responsive element-binding (CREB) protein family of transcription factors. ATF-3 plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses and regulates various genes associated with inflammation, apoptosis, and cell survival. ATF-3 expression increases in response to stress signals, such as oxidative stress or cytokine stimulation, making ATF-3 a key player in adaptive cellular responses to adverse conditions. ATF-3 modulates gene expression to maintain cellular homeostasis and prevent pathological conditions, such as chronic inflammation or cancer. ATF-3 can form heterodimers with other transcription factors, enhancing regulatory capabilities and allowing for a more nuanced response to cellular signals. |
