Product Description

CRM1 also known as Exportin-1, XPO1 is a protein that mediates leucine-rich nuclear export signal (NES)-dependent protein transport. CRM1 plays a crucial role in nuclear export of proteins and RNA, particularly those containing a nuclear export signal (NES). CRM1′s function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating gene expression, as CRM1 facilitates transport of essential molecules out of the nucleus, thereby influencing various cellular processes such as signal transduction and stress responses. CRM1′s interaction with specific leucine-rich proteins underscores its importance in selective export mechanism, which is essential for proper cellular function.
