Product Description

UBE2L3 also known as UBCH7 is a crucial E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that plays a significant role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for regulating protein degradation and maintaining cellular homeostasis. UBE2L3 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, where UBE2L3 facilitates the transfer of ubiquitin to target proteins, thereby influencing various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, signal transduction, and responses to stress. Proper functioning of UBE2L3 is vital, as dysregulation of ubiquitination can lead to the accumulation of misfolded proteins and has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
