| Product Description | |
LRF is also known as Pokemon, ZBTB7A plays a crucial role in cell differentiation and is characterized by its unique structure, which includes a poxvirus zinc finger (POZ) domain at the N-terminus and Kruppel-type zinc fingers at the C-terminus. This structural configuration facilitates protein-protein interactions essential for LRF′s function as a transcription factor. LRF influences the transition from cellular proliferation to terminal differentiation, particularly during the differentiation of preadipocytes, thereby contributing to adipogenesis. Additionally, LRF can associate with active chromatin and enhance HIV-1 transcription by interacting with the long terminal repeat, highlighting LRF′s importance in both normal cellular processes and viral pathogenesis. |
