| Product Description | |
Atg9B(Autophagy related 9B) functions in the regulation of autophagy, a lysosomal degradation pathway and intersects with vesicular trafficking, organelle quality control, and stress-adaptive responses that influence proteostasis and cellular metabolism. Dysregulated autophagy and ATG network perturbations have been associated with tumor biology, neurodegeneration, and inflammatory processes, making Atg9B a useful node for mechanistic studies of autophagic flux and membrane dynamics. Atg9B also functions as an antisense transcript in the posttranscriptional regulation of the endothelial nitric oxide synthase 3 gene, which has 3' overlap with Atg9B on the opposite strand. |
