| Product Description | |
RPLP0 also known as Ribosomal Protein LP0, P0, L10E, RPP0 is a crucial component of the 60S ribosomal subunit, consisting of 317 amino acids and functioning as a neutral phosphoprotein. Ribosomal Protein LP0 plays a vital role in ribosome assembly and translation initiation, forming a pentameric complex with Ribosomal Proteins LP1 and LP2, which is essential for proper ribosome function in protein synthesis. Ribosomal Protein LP0′s interaction with other ribosomal proteins ensures structural integrity and functionality of the ribosome, fundamental for cellular growth and proliferation. Notably, overexpression of Ribosomal Protein LP0 has been linked to liver and breast cancer, highlighting its potential role in tumorigenesis and making Ribosomal Protein LP0 a target of interest in cancer research. |
