| Product Description | |
SLAMF7 also known as CS1, CRACC, CD19 is a homophilic cell surface receptor belonging to the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family, predominantly expressed on natural killer (NK) cells, T cells, and activated B cells. SLAMF7 plays a crucial role in immune responses, particularly in the activation of NK cells, which are essential for the body′s defense against tumors and virally infected cells. SLAMF7′s unique structure includes immunoreceptor tyrosine-based switch motifs in its cytoplasmic domain, allowing SLAMF7 to engage in signaling pathways that enhance cytotoxic activity. Notably, SLAMF7 activates NK cells through an EAT-2-mediated pathway that is independent of SLAM-associated protein (SAP), distinguishing SLAMF7 from other SLAM receptors. |
