GRP(gastrin releasing peptide) also known as GRP10 is a member of the bombesin-like family of gastrin-releasing peptides. GRP plays a crucial role in stimulating the release of gastrin and other gastrointestinal hormones, which are essential for digestive processes. GRP acts as an autocrine growth factor for certain cell types, influencing cell proliferation and survival.
