Product Description | |
USP10 (ubiquitin specific peptidase 10) also known as UBPO is a 798 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for regulating various cellular processes. One of the key functions of USP10 is removing ubiquitin from ubiquitin-conjugated substrates, thereby influencing protein stability and activity. This deubiquitinating activity is particularly important in the context of the DNA-bound androgen receptor complex, where USP10 may modulate receptor activity and, consequently, gene expression. The regulation of protein degradation and activity through ubiquitination and deubiquitination is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental signals, making USP10 a significant player in cellular signaling pathways. |
