Product Description | |
NDRG1 also DRG1, RTP, CAP43, NDR1 is a member of the N-myc downstream regulated gene family, NDRG1 plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses, hormone signaling, and the regulation of cell growth and differentiation, making NDRG1 vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental changes. NDRG1 is predominantly expressed in placental membranes, as well as in the prostate, kidney, small intestine, and ovary, highlighting NDRG1′s importance in reproductive and developmental processes. NDRG1 expression is notably induced by various stimuli, including nickel, which suggests NDRG1′s involvement in adaptive responses to stressors. |
