| Product Description | |
FoxA2 also known as HNF-3beta is a member of the forkhead class of DNA-binding proteins. FoxA2 plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during both embryonic development and in adult tissues. As a pioneer transcription factor, FoxA2 can bind to condensed chromatin, thereby facilitating the access of other transcription factors and influencing the development and differentiation of essential organs such as the liver, pancreas, and lungs. FoxA2 is indispensable for endoderm formation during gastrulation and plays a significant role in maintaining metabolism and glucose homeostasis. Dysregulation of FoxA2 has been linked to various developmental disorders and diseases, including diabetes and certain cancers, highlighting its importance in both normal physiology and disease pathogenesis. |
