| Product Description | |
LTK also known as TYK1 is a member of the ros/insulin receptor family of tyrosine kinases. LTK plays a crucial role in the development and function of the immune system, particularly in B-lymphocyte precursors, where LTK is essential for proper signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation and differentiation. Additionally, LTK has been identified in forebrain neurons, suggesting involvement in neural signaling processes. LTK′s structure, characterized by its receptor tyrosine kinase domain, is vital for enzymatic activity, allowing phosphorylation of tyrosine residues on target proteins, which is a key mechanism in cellular communication and response to external stimuli. |
