Product Description

DVL2 also known as Dishevelled 2, DVL-2 is a member of the dishevelled (dsh) protein family. DVL2 plays a crucial role in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and embryonic development. DVL2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and translocates to the plasma membrane upon Wnt signaling activation, where DVL2 interacts with frizzled receptors. This localization facilitates the downstream signaling cascade that influences gene expression and cellular behavior. Dysregulation of DVL2 and associated pathways has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making DVL2 a significant target for research.
