Product Description

BAFF-R also known as B cell activating factor receptor, TNFRSF13C plays a pivotal role in the immune system by regulating B cell survival and maturation. BAFF-R is primarily located on the surface of B cells, where BAFF-R interacts with TALL-1 to promote the transition of transitional B cells into mature B cells, which is essential for effective immune responses. BAFF-R expression is particularly high in the spleen and lymph nodes, indicating BAFF-R′s importance in lymphoid organ function and B cell development. Dysregulation of BAFF-R signaling has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases and lymphoproliferative disorders, making BAFF-R a critical target for therapeutic intervention.
