| Product Description | |
CXCR3 also known as IP10, MIGR is a critical member of the C-X-C chemokine receptor family. CXCR3 plays a crucial role in immune response by mediating chemotaxis and calcium mobilization in T lymphocytes in response to specific C-X-C chemokines such as IP-10 and MIG. This function directs the migration of activated T cells to sites of inflammation, contributing to the body′s defense mechanisms against pathogens and regulation of immune responses. CXCR3 is highly expressed in IL-2-activated T lymphocytes, underscoring its significance in adaptive immunity, while remaining absent in resting T lymphocytes, B lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes, highlighting its role as a marker for activated immune cells. |
