| Product Description | |
IRAK-M also konwn as ASRT5, IRAK3 is a member of the interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase protein family. IRAK-M plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the context of Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathways. Unlike other IRAK family members, IRAK-M acts as a negative regulator of TLR signaling, which is essential for preventing excessive inflammation and maintaining immune homeostasis. By inhibiting the activation of downstream signaling pathways, IRAK-M helps to modulate the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby preventing potential tissue damage caused by an overactive immune response. This regulatory function is particularly important in conditions such as sepsis and chronic inflammatory diseases, where dysregulation of TLR signaling can lead to severe pathological consequences. |
